- I am a Heinz 57 variety dog. My owners are Darlene and Ricardo Bowe. They are retired, or at least they were until I came along. I live in the woods in the mountains, which is a good thing, because I don't think I would have made it as a city dog. My best friends are the squirrels, but they haven't figured that out yet. All I want to do is play, but they always run from me. One day, I hope that I will catch one so that I can show them that I just want to play. As far as my owners can figure, I am half Shar Pei and the rest is up for grabs. Many people think I look like a German Shepard. My ears tried to stand up, but half way there decided to hang down, giving me what my owner refers to as the "flying nun" look. Now, at 4 years, one of my ears decided to stand up. I can turn it to zoom in on particular sounds, just like radar!
